Happy New Year
Wow it's already 2012! Time sure has flown this past year is almost a blur. We hope everybody enjoyed their Holiday season. Now it's back to work.
Also we are packing up the house and moving. Our goal is to do a little at a time and be out by the 31st of January. We will be moving back into my parents' house (even though it is in the wrong ward). They are only 2 doctor appointments away from turning in their mission papers! We will be taking care of their house while they are gone and under the circumstances we will be moving in just a smidgeon early.
Our house is supposed to be auctioned off in mid February, but we decided that we really don't want to pay February rent when we will be kicked out anyways or forced to be locked into a new lease. So the move is happening a little earlier than expected...either that or the time just flew by. Probably a combination of the two.
I guess one way to get out of a calling is to just move out of the ward. I feel bad that I will be leaving the Primary Presidency after only a few short months, but at this point we don't have much of a choice. We looked and looked for something in our ward, but could not find anything in our price range that was not completely SCARY!!! But life goes on and there will be somebody else to take my place and I am sure I will not be without a calling for long, though one can hope. :)
Our Christmas was nice. We spent it with my family. We went to both ward Christmas programs. I think I know the wrong people...I got roped into singing and playing the piano in both wards! But it was nice, I'm sure I got double blessings. Our New Years was very quiet and uneventful. Brian and I spent the evening together at home and struggled to stay up until midnight. We watched TV and spent some quality time together.
We hope everybody had a great Christmas and wish all a wonderful 2012!

Spent alot of time thinking of you this Christmas. Love how you are choosing to focus on the positive and show gratitude when life throws you curve balls.
