So I know that the last couple of posts have been kinda negative about my job. I just want everybody to know that I really am thankful to be employed and to be earning a PAYCHECK! :) My observations post is not every kid I have in my class, but just a culmination of experiences I've had over the last 3 months. Coolidge School District is a very POOR district located in a very LOW INCOME area. Unfortunately, this kind of behavior is more of the norm than the exception to the rule in this area. I do have some very enjoyable days at the high school as well and have a good time with the students.

Lalani...it's your blog. YOu can say whatever you want. If someone doesn't like it, they don't have to read it. Everyone has bad days and experiences. That's why we blog, so others can share in them. Love ya.
I agree with Robin. :)
I thought of you all morning, while teaching three different classes at a jr. high, and ironically the class was on eating etiquette and manners...even when I mentioned that maybe I should drop the eating manners and focus on basic manners, it still didn't sink in. So sad.
I'm shipping my kids off to military school when they are teenagers ha ha. J/K No worries, your blog cracks me up, I think it's just how the area is, not you.
Sounds like you are sure busy! How fun to teach, though! Are you guys staying in Arizona pretty premanantly? Hope to talk to you soon!
