We did finally name our cockatiel. His name is Petrie like in "The Land Before Time". We stayed at Brian's parents for almost a week over the 4th of July and we took Petrie with us. The kids LOVED him. Even little Brinley liked looking at him in his cage. We got him out and let the kids pet him and hold him on thier finger and shoulder. The next day while we were gone Zach wanted to play with Petrie and told his daddy that "the birdie wants to get out of jail." We were glad we could share our bird with everyone.

Zachy does love Petrie. Thanks for being so patient with him when he knocked the birdcage over. We all felt terrible about it.
