Tag--I'm It!

I was tagged by Michelle to share 6 quirky things about myself. I think it's all a conspiracy to somehow use it against me at Christmas time. Haha! I really had to think hard about this one. I even asked Brian I was sure he'd have some input...but he was no help. The only things he could think of were gas related issues, and those belong to HIM! So here it goes...

1. I LOVE PICKLES!

Ever since I can remember I have been a HUGE pickle fan. But not just any pickle, dill pickles. I don't like the kosher ones either. It's getting harder and harder to find any that aren't kosher. The more tart and sour the pickle the better! When I was little I had to beg and beg my mom to buy me pickles. She knew if she bought them, they'd only last a couple of days. Now to this day I get a jar of pickles almost every year in my Christmas stocking. Just a side-note: I love sour stuff. I have been known to eat plain lemons, and unsweetened Kool-Aid powder (very sour).
2. MY LATEST VICE

After a long day at work I like to come home and play computer games. This is one of my current favorites. As if staring at a computer screen all day at work isn't enough, I come home and play these games. It's a nice way to pass the time too when Brian is working nights.

3. LDS FICTION

I have always enjoyed a good book. And I am always trying to get my hands on something new to read. I'll read just about anything no matter how cheesy. My favorite though is LDS Fiction. I don't know why, it just is. My mom and I like to trade books back and forth. Our Christmas and birthday gifts to each other usually include books that we've already read wrapped up for each other. When my mom was here in April we went to Seagull Book and bought 3 or 4 books. Then we went a couple of doors down to the used bookstore and bought like 10 more! I could spend an entire Saturday in my recliner reading. This is a book I just started today, we'll see how it turns 0ut.

4. SPELLING FANATIC

I really do not like mis-spelled words. I always try to use the correct spelling even if I am just passing notes to somebody. This must stem back to the 4th grade. I won 2nd place in the school spelling bee...even though my dog ate my spelling book. This is a true story. I may be one the few who can legitimately claim that my dog ate my homework!

5. BOARDGAMES ARE MY FAV

I quite enjoy playing board games. I usually played games with my parents on the weekends growing up. I have received a new board game for just about every birthday and Christmas since I was 12. I'd much rather play a game than go to a movie. This is a game we received for our wedding. Brian doesn't enjoy it as much since it's a strategy game. His game of choice is LIFE.

5. THE QUEEN OF ROLLING EYES

I distinctly remember my sister, Emily, giving me lessons on how to properly roll my eyes at age three. She engrained this in me so well that I often do this without even knowing. I have warned people at work that I do this and not to get offended. Today I think I rolled my eyes at least 15 times in a 20 minute period. If you had heard the conversation I was listening to, you would have been doing it with me.

So there are some of my quirks. Now to pass on the "it"....Anna, Cassie, Debbie, Sarah, & Shannon....Tag, You're It!
